Parousia

There are many interpretation's on this verse Matthew 10:23 it's a good place to formulate your eschatology theology the verse ref. is to Dan 7:13,14 I saw in the night-visions, and, behold, there came with the clouds of heaven one like unto a son of man, and he came even to the ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. 14 And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all the people's, nations, and languages should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.

This coming of the Son of Man is His heavenly enthronement, And to him was given dominion (Da 7:14) the word Erchomai, used for coming in Daniel and the New Testament is not the same coming used in Parousia, that only is used four times in Matthew all in ch.Mt.24:

Parousia

As he sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” 27 For as the lightning comes from the east and shines as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. 37 For as were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. 39 and they were unaware until the flood came and swept them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. (Mt 24:3;27;37;39)

Erchomai
Mt 16:28 "Truly, I say to you, there are some standing here who will not taste death until they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.”  Mt.26:64 Jesus said to him, “You have said so. But I tell you, from now on you will see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of Power and coming on the clouds of heaven.” The Holy Bible: English Standard Version.

Here then such  language (Erchomai) looks forward to the enthronement of the Son of Man in power (which we find already fulfilled through the resurrection in Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me".ESV); the disciples’ mission to Israel would not be completed before that

I use to lean towards  the preterits view, that the second coming, Parousia was all the Son of Man ver.'s tell I read France R.T, also his commentary on Matthew in NICNT is good France, R. T. (1994).
