Being Transformed

Born again from above, by the Word of God

Mt 12:34 You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good? For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks. Mt 12:35 The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him.

Mat 23:33 "You serpents, you brood of vipers, how will you escape the sentence of hell?"

Mt 23:36 I tell you the truth, all this will come upon this generation.

Lk 16:8 And the lord commended the unjust steward, because he had done wisely: for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light. This is a good example the children of this world represent the old Adam.

The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. (2 Cor 4:4 NIV)

I believe that the Word Generation as it is use above, is referring to the earthy, of Adam. Not born again, or us before we were born again.

We are being made anew or regenerated by taking refuge in our Lord and walking after the Spirit. Flesh and Blood will not inherit the kingdom of God. In Adam all die, In Christ all live.

And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

The first man is of the earth, earthy:

the second man is the Lord from heaven.

48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly. 49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. 1 Cor 15:47-49

Don't be serpents food !

Gen 3:14 And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou [art] cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: 1Co 15:47 The first man is of the earth, made of dust. The second man is the Lord from heaven.

Isa 65:25 The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust [shall be] the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD. Rom 8:1 [There is] therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

This is what I think is meant buy all this shall come on this generation, as in Adam, the old man, which is of the earth and ties in with the devil being cast down to the earth , and we fight not against flesh and blood

Mat 13:18 Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower.19 When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth [it] not, then cometh the wicked [one], and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.
Mat 12:43 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.44 Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth [it] empty, swept, and garnished.45 Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last [state] of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation

the old Adam-was crucified with Christ

Romans 6:6 We know that our old self was crucified with him in order that the body of sin might be brought to nothing, so that we would no longer be enslaved to sin.

Colossians 3:9-10 Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old self with its practices 10 and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge after the image of its creator.

Ephesians 4:22-24 to put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, 23 and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, 24 and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.

Romans 13:14 But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires.

Yes anyone in Christ is a new creation, Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 2Co 5:17 [KJV]

Where ever the old man is. Then we are in danger of judgment Lk 21:22

Jesus started performing His Word, On the day of vengeance, day of the Lord, day of deliverance, in that generation He was talking too. and through out the generations and up to the generation that we live in, and the generations to come, But my righteousness shall be for ever, And my salvation from generation to generation Is 51:8 until The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord Re 11:15

for these are days of vengeance, as a fulfillment of all that is written.

Mal 4:1 For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch. 2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.

This is the Day of the Lord, that John the Baptist help bring and fulfill and point the way to Christ.

1 Th 5:2:For you yourselves know full well that the day of the Lord will come just like a thief in the night. 3 While they are saying, "Peace and safety!" then destruction will come upon them suddenly like birth pangs upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.4 But you, brethren, are not in darkness, that the day should overtake you like a thief;

Rev 3:3 Go back to what you heard and believed at first; hold to it firmly and turn to me again. Unless you do, I will come upon you suddenly,as unexpected as a thief. Remember, Jesus also said it was the "evil servant" who says "My Lord delayeth his coming" (Mt. 24:48-51).

48 But if that wicked slave says to himself, 'My master is delayed,' 49 and he begins to beat his fellow slaves, and eats and drinks with drunkards, 50 the master of that slave will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour that he does not know. 51 He will cut him in pieces and put him with the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Luke 17:37 And answering they said to Him, "Where, Lord?" And He said to them, "Where the body is, there also will the vultures be gathered." the present evil age

Romans 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.

Ephesians 2:2 in which you once walked, following the course of this world,[were under the sway of the tendency of this present age] following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience.[the careless, the rebellious, and the unbelieving, who go against the purposes of God].

Ephesians 5:16 making the best use of the time, because the days are evil.

Titus 2:12 training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age,

1 Corinthians 1:20 Where is the one who is wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world?

1 Corinthians 10:11 Now these things happened to them as an example, but they were written down for our instruction, on whom the end of the ages has come.

Isaiah 44:3

For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour my Spirit upon your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants.

Galatians 1:4

who gave himself for our sins to deliver us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father,

Galatians 3:14

so that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we might receive the promised Spirit through faith.

Galatians 3:10–14

10 For all who rely on works of the law are under a curse; for it is written, “Cursed be everyone who does not abide by all things written in the Book of the Law, and do them.” 11 Now it is evident that no one is justified before God by the law, for “The righteous shall live by faith.” 12 But the law is not of faith, rather “The one who does them shall live by them.” 13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us—for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who is hanged on a tree”— 14 so that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we might receive the promised Spirit through faith.

Galatians 3:1-5

1 O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? It was before your eyes that Jesus Christ was publicly portrayed as crucified. 2 Let me ask you only this: Did you receive the Spirit by works of the law or by hearing with faith? 3 Are you so foolish? Having begun by the Spirit, are you now being perfected by the flesh? 4 Did you suffer so many things in vain—if indeed it was in vain? 5 Does he who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you do so by works of the law, or by hearing with faith

When Jesus died for our sins, and we excepted His rightness, He put and end to the law of sin and death, we are free in Him. The one day is the Lord's Day to the end of all unrighteousness. We are brought and paid for with His blood. and we are being deliver out of the world, and our new nature is overcoming the old, He is the one that is doing the work in us, and He is the one that is saving us and knows how to deliver us out of all out temptations.

Two Kingdom's, One by the flesh, and our own efforts, and the other by the seed of Abraham, by Faith.

(Our ark is Jesus, the flood is the world and its systems. Anything not of Christ is Antichrist. Trust in Him to make a way, and not trust in the world, He is in control, and the kingdoms of this world are becoming His. He is telling us to be separate from the way the world operates and He will strengthen us.)

Rev 3:18 I advise you to buy gold from me--gold that has been purified by fire. Then you will be rich. And also buy white garments so you will not be shamed by your nakedness. And buy ointment for your eyes so you will be able to see.

19 I am the one who corrects and disciplines everyone I love. Be diligent and turn from your indifference.

1 Th 5:6 So be on your guard, not asleep like the others. Stay alert and be sober.

Psa 37:9 For evildoers will be cut off, But those who wait for the LORD, they will inherit the land.

Phil. 2:14-16 "Do all things without grumbling or disputing; that you may prove yourselves to be blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you appear as lights in the world, holding fast the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I may have cause to glory because I did not run in vain nor toil in vain." (day of Christ not the day of the Lord. Hold on till the end. Christ is putting everything under His feet, He must rule and reign until then.)

Eph 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places].

There is only one way to God, and that is through Jesus.

Through the promises, by the seed of Abraham. through faith, Not the Law, Religion, or by being good enough.But only in trusting in Him.

Rom 10:8 Salvation that comes from trusting Christ--which is the message we preach--is already within easy reach. In fact, the Scriptures say, "The message is close at hand; it is on your lips and in your heart." 9 For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. ---so be it. Amen.
